My Visionary Art flows from my own process of healing and transformation. It is a mixture of many media and often includes handmade paper that I produced years ago as a professional papermaker. Although my undergraduate training was in art, it was not until decades later, during my graduate work in Art Therapy, that my true art found its visual voice. It often brings though deep messages & symbols that I hope inspire our collective healing & awakening. You can find my original paintings and prints at the Crestone Artisan's Gallery in the San Luis Valley of Southern Colorado.
I also have decades of training and experience in trauma therapy & neuro-somatic processes that help to free up the bound energy we hold inside of us from early life trauma, negative conditioning and conflicting beliefs. Over the last two decades I developed a synergistic process called Creative Awakening, which utilizes Somatic Exercises, Intuitive Inquiry of the conscious & subconscious Psyche and deep inner exploration of Soul+Source wisdom. This three centered process offers a way to clear and realign the stored energy in the body, access relevant psychic material and rediscover our inherent, creative, insight and wisdom. Together it is the only way I have found to uncover the hidden potential within me and cultivate a richer and more authentic way of living.
My training in Art Therapy and years as an intuitive artist have also helped me access and express the creative wisdom within me. My process often involves using an ongoing visual journaling process I call Creative Inquiry, to explore aspects of my life that need healing & transformation. This combined approach offers a rich way to heal old wounds and access your own inner guidance.
