Week Three: The Query & Compassionate Curiosity
As we enter week three of our Creative Inquiry adventure, I invite you to consider using this process to gain access to your inner wisdom and intuitive guidance on questions you have about your life. For years now I have used this process when I am not sure what I want or which way I should go. Sometimes for a week or somtimes just for a day I will write my question at the top of my page and then sit in silence with it for a few minutes. Occasionally I will receive a clear image/symbol for me to draw or paint, but more often I just let myself begin to doodle and paint in the same somatic manner as we began with and sometimes I see an inkling of a clue in the lines and shapes. Collaging words and simple images can also be a interesting way to explore this by allowing free association. Then I do my uncensored writing with the question in mind and just see what flows. You might be surprised at the way our Higher Self can communicate with us when we invite it! I have even found journal pages years later and realized that they were premonitory and were showing me glimpses of the future that I wasn't aware of at the time.
